Position: Part-time Credit Controller (flexible hours)

Location: Coventry

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Term: up to 25 hours per week, Permanent

Hybrid working - optional - must be able to travel to Coventry

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a promising company in the Coventry area that has doubled in size since mid-2021. We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller who has a track record of building great relationships with clients from other countries as well as the U.K. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the sole Credit Controller and must be comfortable working on your own initiative.

In this role there is potential for hybrid working if requested, but ideally you will be in the office on a Tuesday and Thursday. There is some flexibility for the working hours to be tailored to your needs and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Aged debt reports - produce on a weekly basis
• Bank receipt processing
• Debt chasing - over the phone and email
• Collection of debts in a timely manner
• Customer account reconciliation
• Liaison with Sales/Account Managers in regards to payment discrepancies

What we would like from you:

• Sage 50 experience desirable but not essential
• Excel skills - vlookups and pivot tables desirable but not essential
• Excellent relationship and rapport building skills with customers/clients
• A high standard of customer service skills
• Previous experience in a similar Credit Control position
