An opportunity to join a well established retail business during an exciting period of change. The Corporate Reporting Team consolidates and communicates business performance both internally and externally. This involves owning profit reporting and board pack completion. The team also is at the forefront of communication with the wider group and manages the audit process.
The functions of this role is to co-ordinate, manage and validate the group financial and corporate reporting requirements and provides a single point of contact for all group corporate financial information.
Tracking and reporting on like for like sales.
Period end consolidation of the income statement and periodic board reporting
Delivery of the Q&A and draft financial releases in line with the City timetable.
To provide a single point of contact for all group corporate financial information.
Calculation and monitoring of Like for Like sales measures weekly, periodically, and as required.
Preparing periodic Financial Update presentation.
Any ad hoc decision support activities for the Finance Director and project work as required.
Responsible for all financial submissions to the group including latest view and outturn submissions
As the ideal candidate for this role you will hold a recognised accounting qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. You will possess the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner, the ability to identify process issues, understand & fix root causes, the ability to work fluidly with data and across systems e.g. reporting tools. Strong analytical skills, Excel & Access skills and attention to detail are a minimum requirement in this role
