Job Description


Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all customer orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner to enable the company to adhere to the service level agreements in place, resolving issues on orders requiring intervention. The role will also support Collections, Connections & Order Completion Manager in delivering excellent customer service to existing and potential customers across our brands.


  • Processing of orders
  • Liaise with customers both inbound and outbound to resolve any issues on orders which required intervention
  • Maintaining accurate records of all action taken and updating relevant spreadsheets/ system
  • Follow agreed processes at all times and ensuring that all rules, procedures and policies in the areas of risk and compliance are adhered to
  • Ensure that quality commitments are upheld and re-enforced across all aspects of the role
  • Achieve individual and departmental targets as set out by Line Manager
  • Ensure the correct details are used to complete the order including customer, product and tariff information
  • Process the connection using various methods such as Network integrated systems, web interfaces and over the phone.
  • Ensure that all relevant systems are kept up to date with all necessary information Ensure all procedures, rules and regulatory compliance standards are consistently achieved
  • Follow agreed processes in place to make sure all customers are treated consistently and fairly and to ensure operational losses are minimised
  • Continually seek ideas for streamlining and improving existing processes and work methodology
  • Maintain and share high level of procedural expertise
  • Be vigilant against fraud and risk

  • Previous administration skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT literacy including MS Excel and Word
  • Hard working and positive with a flexible attitude
  • Understanding of Call Centre operations and working practices
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Professionalism
  • Ability to work under pressure
