Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a Non profit organisation. My client has grown significantly in the past four years across all its activities.


We seek an exceptionally organised individual with proven knowledge and experience of using SAGE and Excel. Proven experience of continuous improvement, working to tight deadlines and prioritising are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential as the post-holder will be required to work closely with colleagues across Reach and communicate effectively with clients, family carers, suppliers etc.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


Maintain client accounts
Generation and processing of client invoices
Record and process payments received
Production of statements and credit control
Maintain supplier accounts
Payment and processing of supplier invoices
Record and process payments made
Bank reconciliation across multiple accounts
Process petty cash transactions and reconcile to petty cash accounts
Ensure month end / year end processes and timelines are adhered to
Maintain employee records for new employees and those leaving
Calculate payments to be made including SSP,SMP
Process payments to employees, pension providers and HMRC



EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Sales ledgers, including invoicing and processing payments received
Purchase ledgers, including processing payments made
Nominal ledgers up to trial balance
Bank reconciliation
Maintaining employee records
Calculation and payment of salaries
Processing payments to employees, HMRC & pension providers
Knowledge and experience of using MS Excel
IT literate; must be fully conversant with MS Word, Outlook in addition to SAGE & Excel
Preparation of financial reports for managers
Experience of preparing financial data for formal accounts
Proven organisational and time-keeping skills.
