Job Description

As one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies, this company is always looking to innovate with a view to creating products that nobody else could.

Based out of their UK headquarters in Middlesex, they are working hard to be the number one brand in their field, globally.

Current requirements mean they have an immediate need to recruit an experienced Demand Planner on a temporary basis.

JOB ROLE:

Review, define and develop processes to provide statistical forecasts across the business that fully meet product launch and commercial budget requirements.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.

Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.

Actively engage in internal discussions and where required escalate and push back in support of a controlled and rigid planning methodology.

Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.

Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning.

Establish and develop direct and functional relationships with customer based supply and demand planners.

Experience:

3+ year experience preferably within the tech sector
Relevant experience in specified markets [AMR/APAC/EMEA]

Requirements:

Understanding of S&OP process and importance to SCM

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management

Ability to lead by example and influence key stakeholders

Well developed analytical skills

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and operations

Advanced abilities in Microsoft Office

Ability to manage multiple priorities
