Macildowie are working exclusively with a globally recognised manufacturing business in the Aerospace Sector. They are looking to recruit a Deputy Financial Controller in to their team on a permanent basis. Working from their UK office in Derby, you'll be the first point of contact between the Group Financial Controller and external auditors.
This is a key role within the team where you will be providing technical advice on contracts, key judgements and implementations of new controls and standards.
So what is the job?
- Driving robust and effective financial control across the whole business
- Driving and embedding efficiency and simplification
- Managing risk and addressing process change and improvement
- Ownership of the external audit process and lead the relationships
- Play a key role in the smooth running of the reporting process
What are you like?
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA preferred)
- 3-4 years post qualification experience
- Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills
Package - £75,000 - £85,000 - depending on experience
