An exciting opportunity has come up to join a growing business in Nottinghamshire on a 3 month contract initially with the potential for the role to go permanent. This is a generalist role where you will be involved in all aspects of HR, including succession planning as well as having line management responsibility.
You will be reporting to the Group HR Manager who will be based internationally. Your key responsibility will therefore be to provide support to the Nottingham Office whilst the Group HR Manager is away. You will be involved in all aspects of HR; this will include, but will not be limited to, supporting the managers across the business in regards to sickness and absence management, dealing with complex/sensitive ER cases and running any key projects within the business. One of your key projects will be to assist with talent management and training needs across all areas of the business.
The Ideal Candidate:
You should come from a generalist HR background where you have led on ER cases and feel confident giving thorough and correct advice to managers. You will need to have a genuine passion for succession planning and analysing the training needs within a business. It would be ideal if you were also studying towards your CIPD and had experience of managing a team.
