The Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Business Development Manager and help drive the overall brand identity, online presence and business goals. You could be a recent Marketing/Media graduate or someone who has worked in a broad based marketing role in a fast paced SME (but you will need to have digital experience). It is vital that you are the type of person who can roll up their sleeves, accept new challenges outside your comfort zone and is not afraid of stretching your abilities. -Day to day running of all social media channels including writing copy for each platform and helping to develop the voice of the organisation in each medium in line with the charity's Strategy.
-Maintenance of websites and ensuring that all content is fresh, relevant, engaging and on message.
Helping to produce and distribute email newsletters and campaigns.
-Responsibility for the CRM system, including analytics on sales opportunities and potential campaigns.
Identification of advertising and promotional opportunities of existing product portfolio and formulation of agreed campaigns.
-Measuring, tracking and reporting on all digital marketing campaigns on a monthly basis in a concise and understandable way. You will also be responsible for producing recommendations based on the results and implementations of actions required.
-Working with the Business Development Manager to ensure that the customer network is contacted in a regular and timely manner and that sales opportunities are optimised.
-Creating reports and analysis across the digital portfolio of all activity, including links to sales.
-Monitor competitor social media, websites and email newsletters and use to drive best practice.
-Contribute to marketing plans and strategies and presenting your own ideas on how to improve the marketing strategy.
-Regularly participate in research to create new opportunities or benchmark best practice marketing techniques.
-Responsible for SEO and recommendations from analysis
Key Skills Required
The Digital Marketing Executive will have excellent organisational skills with a track record of working on multiple campaigns and demonstrating excellent communication skills across all channels and platforms. Data management skills will be important including marketing and return on investment and experience of CRM systems (Zoho would be a distinct advantage).
The Digital Marketing Executive will have an ability to visually story tell and have an attention to detail with the confidence to challenge decisions where required. A knowledge and experience of using IT tools and techniques including PPC, SEO, Email marketing, google analytics, ad words would be advantageous, however you will have the opportunity to upskill in these areas if necessary.
