This is a fantastic opportunity for am experienced Digital Marketing Manager to deliver spectacular on-line growth within an ambitious Retail organisation in the Leicestershire region. Increasing levels of incremental traffic is fundamental to this growth and this company requires a high quality, experienced Digital Marketer to oversee their Digital Marketing activity, with responsibility for driving traffic through a developed customer acquisition plan. This role would cover all paid channels, (PPC; PLA; Affiliates; Retargeting ) plus SEO activity and a requirement to work closely with the Marketing department regarding Direct and Social traffic.
-The Digital Marketing Manager will deliver the required traffic volumes for two websites.
-Manage the budget accordingly and ensure they achieve their required ROI on paid activity.
-Manage the external agencies (s) responsible for the day to day Paid and SEO activity.
-Work with these agencies and google to identify industry and techncial changes that may present opportunities
-Mangement of at least one direct report
-Work closely with other online functions to translate the Trading and Content plans into a relevant strategy for Digital Marketing.
-Play a key role in the Content Marketing plans, with a clear plan of Content based activity to drive SEO
-Take accountablity for agreed Digital Marketing KPIs, and ensure that all activity is tagged, tracked and evaluated.
-Be the go-to person in the company for Online Marketing - you ill be the subject matter expert, and have a responsibility to educate appropriate personnel in Digital Marketing.
-Develop a Digital Marketing activity plan
-Identify and take advantage of any partnership opportunities.
-Ensure all other disciplines within online are aware of the importance and dependency of Digital Marketing on their activity - on-site navigation; content etc.
-To assist in creating business cases to justify new SaaS arrangements and web development.
-As required, own the testing of development changes for Digital Marketing as part of the ongoing web development cycle.
Knowledge and skills required
-At least 3 years working within an ecommerce team
-Experience of managing a Digital Marketing team
-Experience of managing an external agency
-Good technical experience of all Digital Marketing techniques, across PPC; PLA; Retargeting; Affiliates
-Knowledge of eCRM, SEO technical expertise and Google Analytics.
-A customer first attitude
-Understanding of web technology
-Experience of owning and communicating a Digital Marketing plan
-Thorough knowledge of Web KPIs, and accountability for appropriate ones
-Experience of owning and driving ROI on Digital Marketing
-Relevant forecasting experience
-A passion for online
