The Opportunity


Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join an ambitious B2B company located in North Nottingham. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing a Marketing Executive and you will lead the digital marketing team and be responsible for the overall direction and strategy. They are looking for a thinker and a do-er with new ideas to push the business forward both for demand generation and increasing brand awareness.
Key areas of focus will include website content and ensuring content is fresh and relevant, SEO & PPC (via agencies), Email marketing, Social Media, Google Analytics, User Experience and Customer Journey, Blogs, newsletters and thought leadership.


Key Responsibilities


-Create and manage the strategy, plan and budget for the organisations digital marketing activity
Plan and execute all web, SEO, PPC, email, social media and display advertising campaigns. This will include improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website and landing pages.
-Manage and deliver an online content plan, including the commissioning and production of online content including audio, video and written content such as blog posts
-Measure and report performance of all digital marketing and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
-Identify customer and market trends, insights and competitor data to optimise spend and performance
-Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption where appropriate in order to continually evolve and grow the organisations digital activity
-Promote the importance of digital content across the organisation, develop relevant policies and guidance around digital communications to ensure a consistent and professional approach
-Creative design of on and off line marketing materials including brochures, case studies, infographics, emails, guides/papers, direct mail, promotional items, exhibition items, machine branding, email footers etc.
-Lead as the brand ambassador and manage the brand guidelines to ensure the business is presenting the brand correctly in all areas
-Collaborate with all internal departments and external suppliers

Key Requirements


-Degree in marketing or related field desirable but not essential
-At least 3 years' experience in a digital role
-Proven experience of planning and implementing a digital or marketing plan
-Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
-Evidence of creative and engaging digital campaigns across multiple platforms
-Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, PPC, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
-Experience of managing digital content production, particularly videos
-Experience of setting and managing budgets and of sourcing, briefing and liaising with external suppliers
