Job Title: ER Advisor
Job Type: The role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of it being made permanent.
Job Salary: Looking to pay up to £32,000

Advise, guide, coach and support line management on HR related matters, ensuring legislative requirement, HR policies and procedures are met and sound employee relations are facilitated and promoted.
Provide HR policy and procedure interpretation, employment legislation, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, grievance, disciplinary and termination management along with performance management issues.Â
Appropriate preparation of the supporting paperwork e.g. all disciplinary invitations, along with appeal hearing invitations. This will also include the appropriate chasing and tracking of disciplinaries and grievances. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy and in line with protocols, processes and service level agreements.
Implement best practice processes for the client base, ensuring legislative requirements are met, HR policies are adhered to and sound employee relations facilitated.
Brief HRBPs on new / revised processes and practices and provide briefings, communication and / or training materials for down-lining to stores as appropriate.
Identify improvements to existing processes and procedures, recommending improvements to the ER Manager, and on approval, implement change and validate the outcomes.
In line with agreed objectives, research, develop and recommend new/revised processes and practices for use by line management and on approval, ensure their effective implementation. This will cover Manager's Toolkit, Intranet Development, new administration processes etc.
As an ER Advisor your skills & experience will ideally include:
Excellent and up to date Employee Relations knowledge with strong generalist / ER experience.
Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent proven relationship and customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of wider team within HR and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Proven analytical and numerical ability.
Strong organisation, administration and planning skills, and able to give attention to detail.
Ability to manage a high volume of work, work at a fast pace, manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
