Sales Executive


Monday to Friday

Home/Field based

£35k basic + OTE

Job Purpose: The External Sales Specialist role is primarily to sell the companies range of Sign & Display products through the reseller channel. He/she will provide a full sales and support service for their reseller partners in their sales and marketing activities including product demonstrations, sales promotions, exhibitions, training and events. The role involves travel throughout the UK and overnight stays.

Duties: Promoting, demonstrating and presenting digital print and finishing products to existing and new accounts Training the reseller base in how best to sell and present the range of products. Providing sales support at reseller events and exhibitions. Producing sales performance and other management reports as required. Liaising with internal sales and marketing to grow sales in line with targets and the sector plan. Prospecting and developing new partners.

Responsibilities: The job holder will have responsibility for growing sales within a pre-defined product portfolio. He/she will also be responsible for providing a sales service to a pre-determined group of managed accounts and will be targeted as above.

Contacts: Reporting to the Sales Director, the job holder will be field based (with nationwide travel) with occasional visits to the East Midlands office. Key contacts will be internal and external sales teams, marketing, customer care, distribution/logistics and accounts.

Skills/Qualifications: Being an important member of the External sales team, the jobholder will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, intelligent, enthusiastic and a keen learner. A knowledge of Sign & Display print and finishing Technologies or associated industry products would be highly desirable. A positive approach to work and life in general are essential somebody with a 'can do' attitude who can work under pressure.
