Macildowie are currently recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of one of Leicester's premier employer brands. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior level colleagues across a variety of operational functions, providing accurate and timely P and L analysis, MI reporting, controls and compliance guidance.
Responsibilities will include:
Staff management - 4 full time employees.
Prepare accurate and timely P&L and balance sheet budgets / forecasts
Controls focus - ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data recorded in all systems as well as ensuring compliance with company authorisation limits
Calculate month end accounts adjustments and produce key management account schedules and supporting documentation
Production and presentation of MI to senior business management - identifying trends and highlighting issues and areas of concern to management.
Business improvement focus - act as the lead on projects - identifying and carrying out process improvement exercises - testing, implementing and reviewing their success
To be considered for this role you must be/have:
Advanced Excel Skills
Have previous experience within a highly analytical role, manipulating large volumes of data
Have experience of presenting financial data to a variety of senior level stakeholders both finance and non finance
Previous line management responsibility
