Finance Assistant required to join large finance team of UK based market leader in its Head Office in Nottingham. The job will be working as part of the Cash Office and will require somebody who has strong Excel Skills and ideally experience within a similar position.
They are looking for a reliable and committed individual to work within a team that is responsible for business critical tasks, ensuring a high standard of work is completed and company procedures are adhered to at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensure all Bank Accounts are reconciled at all times.
Ensure all banking Controls are adhered to.
Responsible for all store Bank Transactions, that they are reconciled and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
Responsible for all Payment requests and ensure they are processed on time.
Ensure all Cash Flow reports are completed and reviewed in line with the deadlines.
Previous experience in an accounting environment, preferably Cash Office, would be beneficial along with a good telephone manner and reasonable academic achievements, including a grade C or above in both Maths and English. Furthermore, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. The nature of this role requires you to be able to demonstrate evidence of managing your time and also your ability to meet targets/deadlines. Strong Excel skills are essential and previous experience using SAP is desirable
