Macildowie Finance is currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Business Manager position for an Educational Academy group based primarily in Grantham. The role is a real opportunity to bring a Commercial and Cost Effective way of working into the Education sector and play your part in making the Schools attached the best they can possibly be.
You will be working alongside staff within Primary and Secondary schools to give a financial steer on daily processes and make accurate and relevant recommendations on budgets. The position is paying £37-42k plus competitive package.
Duties will include:
-Building effective relationships with central staff
-Preparing budgets to suit strategy and secure future financial position
-Overview and production of management reports
-Liaising with principles and governors
-Assist in year-end procedures
-Travel between Schools and Colleges
-Other Ad-Hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) or have relevant experience. You will have experience of working within the education or public sector previously. Intermediate to Advanced IT skills are essential with a strong and confident approach to communication.
