Macildowie are recruiting a 12-18mnth job as Finance Business Partner for a highly successful and growth centric Business to Business Services organisation based in Leicester.
As Finance Business Partner, in this fixed term contract job, you will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller and the main purpose of this exciting role will be to support the business in achieving financial targets through the timely preparation and delivery of management accounts for four UK based divisions.
Key responsibilities for this Finance Business Partner role will include; Preparation of management accounts for on a standalone and consolidated basis; Control and monitoring of revenues and costs to enable a clear understanding of the divisional performance; to Prepare and distribute appropriate financial reports to budget holders to support financial control and aid performance management and target achievement; the Provision of management accounts and commentary on performance to internal customers; to Assist in and provide the analysis of periodic financial performance of individual projects / contracts against objectives (including budgets and forecasts) to provide Support and business partnering assistance to the divisional MD's; to Promulgate an awareness of financial and corporate governance standards, and support and monitor compliance using financial systems and technical expertise; to Assist in supporting the timely collection of debt as well as supporting the wider management accounts team as required, to deliver a comprehensive financial and management accounting service to the business areas (financial and non-financial). There will also be some monthly travel which include travel to London and the South West.
The successful Finance Business Partner candidate will be a qualified or finalist level, analytically strong and commercially focused management accountant / business partner with proven management accounting, variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience gained from working within a fast moving customer and supplier focused environment. Advantageous to this role are strong systems skills, coupled with a strong level of MS excel spreadsheet skills to include; macros, pivot tables, v-look ups and what if statements.
