Our multi-faceted and dynamic International Manufacturing client, a market leader in their field is currently looking to recruit a new Financial Director.
With exciting times ahead, this is a rewarding and challenging opportunity to join a highly successful circa £35 million turnover Northamptonshire based business. In this broad and highly visible new role, reporting in to the UK Managing Director and Group CFO you will be responsible for assisting in the strategic direction of the UK and Ireland business and managing & driving the operational improvements for this subsidiary including; technical finance and taxation (to local GAAP reporting and IFRS standards), risk management and compliance, sales administration and all associated Legal, IT and Company Secretarial duties.
With responsibility for team of 8, you will also ensure that you and your team provide timely and value adding analytical, financial and commercial support to the UK and Group Leadership teams and other key customers and stakeholders, whilst developing and embracing their understanding of both operational performance and key strategic drivers.
Other core duties will include the provision of regular and up to date MI, KPI analysis and the provision of a business partnering service to non-finance functions including sales & marketing, health and safety and production. From a site manufacturing and operational perspective you will be responsible for supporting the MD and ensuring that tight cost controls are in place, through clearly defined budgeting and forecasting, stock and inventory management.
Essential to this role will be strong MS Excel and ERP skills coupled with a proven experience and up to date knowledge of operational cost controls, including negotiations and relationships with suppliers and customers. Hugely advantageous to this role will be any knowledge and experience of Oracle EBS and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
The successful candidate will be an ambitious, hands-on, driven and confident Â ACMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer / Senior Finance Business Partner with a proven background in operational accounting, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting and financial analysis.

Essential to this role is a commercial savvy which is very much embedded with multi-operational business experience.
