Our client is a distribution organisation who provides world-class supply chain sources on a national scale. Due to internal changes our client now has an immediate need for an experienced Finance Director to take the helm on a temporary to permanent basis.
Managing a team of 11 this individual will work closely with the Managing Director to drive significant improvements not only within the reporting environment but the business as a whole.
Key duties are:
Prepare statutory accounts
Oversee management accounts
Prepare with commercial analyst budgets and forecasts
Responsible for overhead expenditure
Supervision of credit control
Day to day cash flow management
Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Monthly transport reconciliation and production of management information
Maintain banking and auditor relationships
Loan management and covenant compliance
Payroll balance sheet reconciliations
HR and Payroll
Manage and support HR and recruitment team
Check monthly payroll from HR and bureau + sign off
Ensure legal compliance HMRC
P11d calculations and submission
Pension administration and monthly returns
Manage and support procurement and purchase ledger team
Group income protection, life, and private medical insurances
