This role will be responsible for the day to day running and management of the finance team - leading on all month/year end activities, budgeting, forecasting and supporting the Exec team including FD and MD with commercial analysis and decision support.

Within this role you will be responsible for:
Leadership, management, coaching and development of the finance team of 4.
Lead on all month end activities - ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of all business reporting.
Lead on all year end Statutory accounts production.
Ensure that all financial reports are in line with both internal and external controls frameworks. Educating the wider finance function on controls updates and their ramifications.
Lead on and coordinate all audit relationships - both internal and external.
Work with the Senior Leadership team to inform key strategic decisions regarding the future of the business.
Take a lead on all budgeting and forecasting activity.
Contribute to the wider performance of the finance team, taking a lead on process and system improvement activities.
To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/ACA Qualified with previous experience of managing a sizeable financial management/controls function.
An up to date understanding and working experience of controls frameworks is essential.
