THE OPPORTUNITY:

Immediately available OR on a short notice period/finishing soon?
An experienced Accountant who wants to work for a small, successful business?

A fantastic varied role within an SME for a Company Accountant to really dive into has become available. Reporting to a non-finance Managing Director you will have the freedom to put your stamp on the finance department whilst developing your skills in what is an effective Finance Director position (but for a very small function).

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is an opportunity for an Immediately Available or becoming Available Accountant to join a £3million turnover business in Alfreton on a salary of circa £27,000 to £30,000 (negotiable).

Control of fixed asset register
Production of monthly management accounts
Ledger and administration duties (small £2million business so you will be very hands on!)
Vat returns
Balance sheet reconciliations
Using SAGE
Preparing budgets

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

For this position, the most important aspect is wanting to work for a small business and getting really stuck into the management accounts, the ledger, the KPI analysis and being 'the go to person' for the office when it comes to finance and office administration.

QBE, Part-Qual or Qualified Accountant
Production of monthly management accounts
Small company experience essential
SAGE (ideal)
