Company Overview:
Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? Join my dynamic and rapidly growing client in Leicester! They are a successful business with a turnover of £10 million, operating in a thriving industry. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Finance Manager to lead their financial operations on a 14th month Maternity Contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • 1 direct report
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to the management team to support strategic planning and business growth.
  • Coordinate and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working collaboratively with department heads to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Oversee payroll processes and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial risks.
  • Provide support to the executive team in making sound financial decisions.


  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT or Qualified by Experience.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role.
  • Strong experience & understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Highly skilled in using Excel must include pivots/look ups
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar-sized business is a plus.
