Job Description
Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Type: Temporary to Permanent - 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, set up new suppliers, and maintain accuracy within internal controls.
- Efficiently process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders for query resolution.
- Assist in preparing supplier payment runs for seamless disbursement.
- Ensure a 100% match of inter company balances with designated suppliers monthly.
- Proactively complete supplier statement reconciliations for ledger accuracy.
- Seek system and process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Regularly review and update purchase ledger SOP documentation.
- Support key Sales Ledger activities during colleague's annual leave.
- Address additional tasks as requested by the Accounts Payable Team Leader.
Desired Candidate Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' purchase ledger experience.
- Strong customer service skills, effective teamwork, and deadline-oriented.
- High attention to detail and an organised task approach.
