Payroll Specialist | 12 Month FTC | Leicester | Salary Up To £42,000 per annum

Macildowie are excited to be collaborating with a reputable organisation in Leicester to recruit a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist for a 12 month fixed-term contract. As an agency, we are dedicated to identifying top talent for our clients, and this role is pivotal in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.

Position: Payroll Specialist

Location: Leicester

Contract: 12 Month FTC

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Oversee and manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and US legislative requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

Data Accuracy and Maintenance:

  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring the accuracy of information.
  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile payroll data, identifying and correcting discrepancies.

Reporting and Analytic's:

  • Generate and analyse payroll reports to support financial and management reporting.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on thorough payroll data analysis.

Customer Service:

  • Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of iTrent, including Sys Admin functions.
  • Advanced understanding of UK legislation, including benefits, ERS, etc.
  • Proficiency in US Payroll Processing and US Legislation.
  • Experience with P11d Processing, preferably with PAS System.
  • Advanced Excel skills for effective data management.
  • Familiarity with BOXI Report Writing (SAP BI Launch Pad).
  • CIPP qualification - Foundation Degree minimum.
