Senior Credit Controller

Location: Nottingham City Centre

Macildowie are thrilled to be representing a dynamic and thriving organisation based in the heart of Nottingham city centre. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in credit control to take on a key managerial role within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct management of a team of 8 Credit Controllers.
• Oversight and management of the entire credit control function.
• Ensuring timely and effective debt recovery.
• Implementing and maintaining credit control policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues and disputes.
• Providing regular reports and updates on the credit control function to senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of credit control experience.
• Proven management experience, preferably in credit control.
• Background in legal or professional services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours:

• 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• 1-hour lunch break.
• 35 hours per week.

Hybrid Working:

• Flexible working arrangements are available.

Salary:

• £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Finance qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Benefits:

• 5% employer pension contribution, 3% employee contribution.
• Annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
