Macildowie are currently working with a market leading, fast growing, service sector business based in North Leicestershire. Â They are consistently investing in their organisation and they are now seeking a high calibre Financial Accountant with a strong technical background to join their team and work with both internal and external stakeholders on statutory and regulatory reporting, Tax, VAT accounting and Cash-flow forecasting. The role reports directly to the Financial Controller.
So what is the role?
Support the production of Financial Statements and regulatory reporting for Group and individual entities
Support the annual audit process
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Perform cash flow forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Prepare corporation tax returns alongside the external tax advisors
Support the preparation of VAT returns
Support tax and VAT governance
Work with both external auditors and tax advisors
Maintain up to date working knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation laws and regulations
So who are you?
You will need to be fully qualified (ACCA/ACA)
You will have Tax and VAT preparation and compliance experience
You'll be used to working in a fast paced business and you will thrive on making decisions, improvements to both processes and team capabilities
You'll love taking the initiative and at times, being autonomous. You'll be solutions focused and see opportunity rather than issues
Experience of working through difficult situations and improving business capability
