Financial Accounting Manager - Newark / South Lincolnshire - £40,000 - £45,000

They introduced the highest level of free range environments into their chickens, long before it was legislated. They also made sure that they innoculated all of their livestock long before it was a legal requirement and the lion mark was introduced.

Because they are a business that have MORE than just profit at it's heart. They are still family owned and the owners care passionately about the quality of their products, they also care passionately about the environment.
When one of the original owners saw the benefits of building solar farms to reduce the impact on the environment, their own Energy company was born.
At their site near newark they currently have a need for a Financial Accounting Manager. Someone who is either looking to step into industry from practice, or someone who has an Audit background, but also some industry experience as well.
The Key purpose of your role will be to manage the transactional processing, manage the cash and working capital, deliver the Divisional and Group Financial Accounts and Tax, improve group wide processes and controls and have a love for people management and development.
You will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and in an ideal world, will have either worked within or audited a Food manufacturing environment. You may have used Navision or Cognos and will have a natural curiosity, you'll want to know why things are done the way they are (and then think of better ways to do the same!)
In return, you will get a salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 and an opportunity to progress. Finance has recently been centralised into this region and there is room for both horizontal and vertical progression across a growing and highly successful business.
