We are working with a reputable business in the Chesterfield area who are successfully growing year on year, and now looking to recruit a Financial Controller within their team. This role will be pivotal to ensure the day to day running of the finance function remains smooth, whilst managing a small team.
The key areas of the role will include managing the following:
- Producing financial statements,
- Monthly management accounts,
- Preparation of the budget process,
- Liaison with the auditors,
- VAT returns,
- Treasury management,
- Systems and ERP controls,
- Act as secretary and manage the Pension fund.
Ideally, you will have achieved a formal accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) in practice, before gaining hands-on experience of all aspects of accounts and financial reporting in industry.
However, qualified by experience applicants will be considered.
