Macildowie Finance are partnering exclusively with an exciting, growth focused organisation to recruit a Financial Controller on a full time permanent basis, to be based at their Head Office in North Leicestershire.
This highly autonomous and exposed finance role will sit as part of the Senior Management Team and will present the financials at the board meeting on a monthly basis. This Financial Controller position will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of this organisation providing high quality information, true financial controllership and partnering services to all areas of this fantastic business.

You will be tasked with;
Management of a finance function of 5.
Lead on the production of full financial statements and statutory reporting for the Group businesses
Implementation of new processes to improve the month-end and year end statutory process
Provide effective management information to the Directors in order to improve business performance
Full production of monthly management accounts
Review and analysis of the P & L and balance sheet
Treasury management including cash flow reporting/management
Preparation of VAT returns/tax reporting
Preparation and presentation of KPI reporting
To be considered for this role you will be;
A competent Excel User (Pivots, Look Ups, Ifs are a must).
A confident communicator with experience of partnering with senior level operational stakeholders.
Experience of operating in a hands on and fully rounded accounting role is absolutely essential.
