This is a rare opportunity for an experience Senior Finance Manager to join the UK division of an international business and instantly make an impact through the development and improvement of the quality of the reporting data.
The aim of the role is to provide directors and senior managers, group and external authorities/stakeholders with timely, accurate, and relevant financial reporting, management account and analysis to facilitate quality decision making and to encourage improvement in business performance.
-Provide management accounts and supporting ancillary schedules
-Ensure timely and effective group financial reporting.
-Responsible for group KPI and regular global
-Responsible for preparation and analysis of profitability calculation and reporting both internally and to group
-In conjunction with key stakeholders - to provide directors and senior managers of the company with high quality technical support and service in areas of sales, costs, expenses, and inventory management.
-Provision of financial key performance measures of each department like Operations, Marketing, Sales, HR
-Assist Financial Planning Department in the preparations of Budget and Forecast by providing data and information about actuals.
-Responsible for statutory reporting, including statutory accounts and all financial regulatory reporting as required.
-Provide and support annual company balanced score card data, calculation, and analytics.
-Provision of business-wide key performance measures, financial and non-financial, to assist in the achievements of objectives.
-Pro-active approach to provision of management information and analysis to assist directors and senior managers in the achievement of Personal and Company objectives, specifically analysis by responsibility and activity.
-Oversee completion of regular branch audits and financial reviews in Ireland.
-Provide required data and coordination support to both internal and external auditors
-Ensure monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including responsibility for all accruals and pre-payments.
-Responsibility for managing rebate, stock, and warranty provisioning.
-Completion of periodic audit of fixed assets and stocks to confirm accuracy of financial records.
-Improvement of process and systems related to financial reporting procedures to provide a high level of control balanced with efficient business operation
-Audit of buying/selling price files within SAP database.
-Maintain the integrity of the FI Module within SAP including the General Ledger.
-Maintain the integrity of the system and tools used (SAP FI, COPA, BW, Hyperion, Excels)
-Trigger and manage process & system projects to improve the quality of financial reporting.
As the ideal candidate for this role you will hold a relevant accountancy qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA and posses a strong technical accounting experience, possibly gained through working in audit and have experience of coaching and developing a high calibre team. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are a must to succeed in this role, as is experience of working with and presenting analytical results to Non-Finance users. You will need to be a confident individual who has the ability to operate and influence effectively at a senior finance level and be able to demonstrate a track record of driving through change.
