Job Description

A fast growing manufacturing organisation based in Leicestershire is looking for a Group HR Manager to work with the senior leadership team to work on the HR strategy, organisational design and people plan to push the business forward. You will be an engaging and confident people manager and able to work closely in partnership with the CEO to provide an employee focused and high performance culture. The role is based in Leicestershire and paying £50,000 - £60,000 + Car + Bonus dependant on experience.

The Role:

Reporting into the CEO, you will devise and deliver the overall HR Strategy, ensuring alignment with the business plan. You be an effective influencer in order to build credible partnering relationships with the leadership team to ensure you're all pushing forward performance and ensuring growth plans are achieved. You will provide strategic and commercial advice on people matters to ensure key decisions are driven through.

A key focus of the role is to lead on organisation structure and restructure agendas, building, building talent and succession plans across the business as well as looking at employee engagement, flagging concerns before they come and issue and building on the positive values at the heart of the organisation. You will use your experience to review Learning and Development needs for the area and propose activities to address these, creating business cases for justifying spend where necessary. You will actively lead on key strategic projects, such as looking at longer term reward issues and putting key processes in place.

The Candidate:

Experienced HR generalist with a strong track record in delivering results
UK and European HR experience
Excellent understanding of employment legislation
Experience of robust performance management
Proven ability in establishing and maintaining effective relationships in blue collar industries
Responsive to a changeable environment with a flexible and pragmatic approach
Experience working with the leadership team, strongly influencing in a partnering approach
