Macildowie Marketing are seeking a Group Marketing Manager to join a growing Derby based B2B business who are experiencing an exciting time in their history following recent acquisitions. The Group Marketing Manager will take full responsibility for the success of all marketing activities ensuring the delivery of the fully integrated marketing strategy.
This is a regional position located at the Head Office in Derbyshire and requiring ad hoc travel to various UK sites when required to support the management and sales teams. You will however be supported by an established marketing/creative team at Head Office.
This is a permanent job paying a basic salary up to £40,000 plus a £5k annual car allowance and additional benefits.
-Manage the day to day activities of the group marketing function
-Build, develop, and grow a team of experienced marketers and designers to bring the marketing strategy to life
-Manage all campaigns, events, digital marketing and PR
-Ensure the marketing team is fully aligned to the sales team and the sales strategy
-Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all sales collateral to support sales teams to achieve targets
-Ensure the marketing function continuously analyses the market and the competitive environment in which the Group operates
-Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
-Work with key stakeholders to develop proposition to market and build brand awareness
-Take full accountability for the marketing budget and ROI in line with agreed KPIs
-Actively contribute to monthly management meetings
-Develop effective internal communications to support employee engagement
Key skills required
This is a newly created position which is highly valued by the business and requiring creativity, insight, and excellent business acumen but above all the passion and enthusiasm to make this a success.
The successful candidate will have the confidence and drive to build and develop a new group wide team and have a portfolio of successful and innovative marketing campaigns to call on. You will have an excellent understanding of digital marketing and how to use this to build brand awareness. Good project management and organisational skills will be helpful with proven people-management and stakeholder management skills.
