This business are looking for someone to come in as Head of Accounts for 12 months on a fixed term contract to cover a maternity. It's a great role where you will be able to get really hands on, working closely with the other Accountant and have responsibility for the company accounts, production of the monthly management accounts and completion of the year end accounts.
As Head of Accounts you will also be responsible for:
-Maintaining multiple client bank accounts
-Invoicing and collection of service charges,
-Year-end accounts for Limited company clients
-VAT returns and submission on behalf of clients,
-Utility and ad hoc recharges
-Processing and payment of supplier invoices,
-Communicating with clients & tenants
-General office duties and team support
For this role, the business require someone who has a finance qualification ideally (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or who is close to completing their qualification, and has worked in a very similar level role where they have been hands on.
You will need to have strong organising and planning experience, plus it requires someone who likes to use their imitative but also who loves to help their team too as everyone really helps each other in the business. Having strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills is given due to the nature of the role.
This role is a 12mnth fixed term contract and is office based with hours 9-5.30pm. They're a great bunch of people to work with so I'm sure you'll be glad of being around a team of liked minded people whilst you're working!
