Head of Learning and Talent Development

Macildowie HR are working in partnership with a FTSE 100 business based in Leicester to appoint a Head of Learning and Talent Development. The role is critical to the strategic agenda for the business we are looking for an agile, dynamic leader looking to head up and drive forward the Learning & Talent Development capability across the Division to ensure that the strategic and operational goals are met and a high level of engagement from across the Division is achieved.

Having experience of leading and developing Learning & Talent operations in a greenfield environment would be highly beneficial for this role as the new structure and operating model are being bedded in currently and this role will require someone used to adapting to change and ensuring they are able to constructively engage diverse range of stakeholders all with conflicting priorities to ensure the learning and talent framework is fit for purpose and meets the key business, Divisional and Group needs.

The role will need a self starter who is comfortable operating and leading in complex matrix structures covering a diverse range of business services. You'll be able to demonstrate the ability to navigate a matrix organisation with 10,000+ employees across sites in the UK.
