Macildowie are working with a large Nottingham based software group to hire a Head of Product Marketing. This an opportunity to make a huge difference within a fast growing, privately owned business with global reach.
The Head of Product Marketing will be responsible for driving the positioning, messaging, initiatives, and customer acquisition strategies across the product portfolios. You will develop value propositions that are succinct and competitive and have a technical understanding that allows you to really understand your customers and competitors. You will work regularly with Channel marketing, product, sales and services teams and lead a team of four.
-Create strategic product marketing plans, solution collateral, and participate in sales enablement
Develop messaging and content deliverables that articulate product offerings, differentiating values, and key benefits
-Work closely with channel marketing, product, sales, partners, and analysts to position products/services at a high level and around individual features that are brought to market
-Drive the creation of technical content that's used across direct marketing, channel marketing, sales engagements, and channel marketing, including collateral, presentations, white papers, field/partner enablement tools and other deliverables
-Create technical content for market awareness including: infographics, white papers, customer case studies, articles, ROI tools, blogs, videos, podcasts, and other customer-facing materials to build awareness, drive demand generation and arm the sales teams
-Work with sales to deliver high-impact sales tools, enablement and training e.g. sales presentations, battle-cards, cheat sheets, ROI tools, etc.
-Own and execute best-in-class, timely product launches and initiatives, and help customers, press, and analysts understand why products are valuable to the market
This role would suit candidates with a background in SaaS product management with a solution focussed approach to marketing and a talent for communicating technical multi-channel sales messages.
You will be a strategic and analytical thinker with a competitive intelligence and strong understanding of price positioning and value proposition. You will be responsible for driving the creation of technical content to an ability to author and produce market leading content is also very important.
