Macildowie HR are working with a Top 100 Global organisation in the Coventry area as they are looking for a temporary HR Administrator. This role is key for the business and ideally they want someone to start before Christmas. This will be an ongoing position for 2-3 months offering £8-£9.50 per hour.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR Graduate or HR Administrator who would like to be a part of an organisation that are undergoing major transformation and investing in their data capabilities.

The role is responsible for providing an efficient and effective HR administrative service. To accurately maintain the HR system, provide relevant and timely management information whilst dealing generalist HR queries.

The Role

In this varied role you will be responsible for all aspects of HR administration including offer letters and contracts for new employees, ensuring the identity of all candidates is verified.

Collection of references and preparation of supporting documentation relating to new starters. Updating details on the payroll/HR system is another aspect of the role as well as the maintenance of personnel files and related paperwork.

You will also be involved with recording and monitoring sickness and other absence and holiday records on the system. Supporting planning with reminders for probationary reviews, appraisals and PDD's and processing leavers on the sytem.

Working within the wider HR team, you will support various managers in updating policies and procedures and advising line managers and staff regarding HR administrative procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

HR administration background is ideal but someone with an HR degree who is bright and ambitious and wanting a challenge to take their career further.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of HR practices and procedures, along with excellent IT skills, verbal and written communication skills and experience of inputting data and running basic reports in a computerised system.

An ability to work effectively, both independently & as a team member whilst having enthusiasm, self motivation & willingness to operate flexibly are all key desirables.
