Job Description

Macildowie HR are working with a leading business in the Coalville area. They have a global reach with quite a diverse product offering and work with big businesses and well known brands.

They are looking for an HR Administrator to join the team permanently to take on the full administration process whilst supporting the HR Advisor and Business Partners. The HR team is really well set up and it's the biggest it's been for 11 years! The team are very friendly and have all been with the business for 4-5 years, so there's a lot of knowledge in the team and they are keen to share that with you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong all rounder within HR. This role would suit someone who has worked in HR before and wanting to build on their knowledge as well as gaining different experience within a new environment.

This is a part time opportunity, offering 3 days a week, specifically Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am-4pm. The business are looking to offer a salary between £18,000-£23,000 pro rata plus benefits and free parking!

The Role

The organisation are looking for an HR Administrator to join the team to own the administration for 1000 employees whilst carrying out the generalist HR activities such managing the new starter induction process and the HR inbox.

In this role you will also administer the benefits to all new starters and make the changes for current employees as and when necessary. Data cleansing will also be a part of this role to ensure that the HR department always have the correct and up to date details for current employees.

There will also be opportunities to work alongside the HR Advisor and support them with investigations and note taking in meetings to gain exposure into their role. Coordinating work experience placements and induction packs and plans will be a factor in this role too.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role you must have experience within an HR function operating at HR Administrator level or above. Experience is paramount as they want someone who can hit the ground running and jump straight in with the team.

In this role you need to provide a high level of service, internally and externally so confidence is key. They are also looking for someone quite dynamic, more than just being part of the team, more dynamic in their approach.

Other desirables include initiative, organisation and accuracy. There are aspects of lone working in this role and to deadlines but as you will be sat within the team they are wanting someone who is quite happy to roll their sleeves up and support where needed in the team. Being a team player is paramount.

Interviews will be next week followed by a second stage as the business are hoping for someone to start before the end of March.
