Macildowie HR is working with a global business to find an experienced, commercial HR Advisor with exceptional communication skills to join their team on a permanent basis in the West Midlands. With a bit of travel, this role will be packed with meaty projects, requiring someone with generalist HR and project management experience to support the HR Manager and the management team.
West Midlands - Up to £30,000 - Some Travel Required - Projects

The Job
Working alongside HR team and reporting into the HR Manager, this role offers the chance to be involved in meaty projects, including company restructure, Apprenticeship Levi, and the rewriting of policies. This global business brings a fast-paced and varied working environment, requiring someone who can be left to work independently and who goes out of their way to keep up-to-date with employment law. Alongside the project this role is truly generalist and the HR Advisor will look after everything from absence management and ER to TUPE.
The main bulk of this role is to work closely with the management team and support them in all aspects of HR. They require guidance and coaching which calls for commerciality, excellent communication skills, a calm demeanour but with the ability to push back.
There will be monthly travel required across the UK to various sites.
ER and projects are the main focus of this generalist role; it needs an HR Advisor who will coach and support line managers, and someone who has managed projects at the same time as keeping up with the day-to-day duties.

The Candidate
This role requires a calm yet robust, confident and patient HR Advisor who can instantly build rapport and evoke trust and reliability. It asks for someone who has experience working in a regulated environment and who will take ownership and responsibility for their work, both with projects and the day-to-day.
Excellent communication skills in this job look like a calm and non-confrontational, commercial attitude with the ability to manage and control a situation and ask the right questions. With experience in a generalist role from a regulated working environment, you will be confident in all of ER, TUPE, policies and procedures, and the development of employees. You are required to have your CIPD or be an associate so that you are keeping up with regulations and employment law.
