Job Description

A leading manufacturing company who have a premier reputation world wide are looking for a HR Advisor to join their close knit team.

The Role:
This will be a generalist HR role which will involve employee relations as well as recruitment. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and appropriate HR policies and procedures are in place. You will use your strong communication skills and ability to build strong relationships to provide first line advice on a range of employee relations. These cases will include disciplinaries and grievances, end to end recruitment, absence management, performance issues, learning & development and policies and procedures and you will support line managers in a coaching style.

The Ideal Candidate:
You will come form a strong HR advisor background. This is a role that will require you to have a proven track record of providing generalist support at all levels. You should be CIPD qualified and have excellent knowledge of current and future employment law. You should have effective coaching and mentoring skills and will also be able to challenge and influence in a positive and constructive manor. You ideally will also come from a background of manufacturing or similar.
