Job Title: HR Advisor
Job Location: Bedford

Job Summary
To provide a comprehensive and professional HR consultancy service to managers and staff whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with procedures, policy and employment legislation. To deliver HR objectives at an operational level as determined in the HR strategy. As well as providing support and advise on all HR aspects from policies and procedures to employee relations including absence management, disciplinary and grievance, performance management, recruitment and selection, change management and exit strategies to minimise risk to the business. You will also be given the opportunity to work on L&D projects and get involved in the wider strategy of the business including presenting workshops.

Candidate Summary
The ideal candidate will have the following to be successful in this position:
Experience of working in a busy HR function, be CPP qualified / CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) and showing experience of dealing with the delivery of HR Operational Tasks. This candidate needs to demonstrate a solid L&D background, with knowledge of CLDP qualification, with competence in running training workshops and having the ability to demonstrate a 'best practise' approach to HR initiatives, being able to provide fair and consistent advice in line with HR policy.
