Macildowie HR are currently working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business in the Northamptonshire area who are looking for a stand alone HR Advisor to join their team. They are looking to pay between £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
As the HR Generalist you will work closely with the wider organisation to provide all HR and ER support to line managers across all functions. You will be the point of contact for any ER issues across the business and will be responsible for advising and note taking on a range of disciplinary and grievance issues including managing cases such as absence, performance and gross misconduct. You will work to upskill line managers on HR issues and will work key stakeholders to help deliver training programmes. You will also be responsible for collating all the information and processing through Payroll.
There is also the opportunity to get involved on a range of projects in conjunction with the Financial Director. This could include strategic developments and employee engagement etc. There is lots of potential for someone to develop within the role and the business. You will have previous experience working in a similar role either in a team or in a stand alone role and will specifically have gained exposure to working on a variety of ER cases and payroll. You will have the confidence to advice on a range of Policies and will have the ability to build relationships across the business. You will thrive in a busy and generalist environment and will be passionate about developing people.
