Macildowie HR is pleased to be working with an instantly recognisable business based in Warwickshire who is recruiting for a HR Advisor. The role will provide HR support to the business within a great team environment and reporting in to a progressive and driven HR manager. The role is a 12 month contract with the potential to extend and is paying up to £25,000 depending on experience.
You will be the first point of contact over the telephone and email using your quality communication skills to provide end to end HR Advice for all colleagues and Managers across the organisation, specifically in the areas of absence management, employee relations and performance management. You will also have a key role in assisting to develop the local and group HR policies and procedures as well as supporting the maternity process in accordance with current legislation & Company Policy.
Working collaboratively with the HR Consultant, you will need to provide support in potential final / dismissal disciplinary hearings and grievance hearings across the organisation and compile all required paperwork.
The final key aspect of the role is to create basic HR training modules aimed at developing and improving the skills of the wider organisation and deliver these and other training and development activities / interventions as required.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a busy HR department in a generalist advisory capacity or a similar role.
The candidate will also have thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures with an up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law which they can use to optimal effect in this role.
Experience of supporting in disciplinary / grievance hearings up to and including dismissals is an absolute must for this role and if you have worked in the logistics or retail industries previously that would be a massive bonus.
