Job Description

Macildowie HR is pleased to be working with a large business based in the South of Milton Keynes, in recruiting for a HR Advisor. The role will provide HR support to the business making continuous improvements throughout the HR team and wider structure. This is a full time permanent position paying from £30-37.5k depending on experience.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing HR and Recruitment advice across the business, supporting the business stakeholders with rolling out additional projects. You will be involved with ER cases which you will manage the full process and coach line managers in order to upskill them on areas such as disciplinary and grievances. Other key areas will include

-TUPE processes and controls

-Policies and procedures management

-Performance management, review, advice and coaching from start to conclusion of all processes

-Grievance and absence management and control

-Support with training initiatives and support to the HR Manager and board of directors

-Delivering training and coaching sessions to manager's throughout the business to increase their knowledge on HR practices and ER cases.

-You will also get the chance to support key stakeholders with ad hoc projects. This will involve compiling regular HRMI in order to identify any business trends.

-There is also currently a big focus around employee engagement and sending out regular communications around this to the wider business.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be extremely driven and able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. You will be competent in using all Microsoft office programs and have previous experience with HR systems. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of most HR disciplines including ER, resourcing. Additional knowledge in reward and benefits, HR reporting, HR systems, learning and development and recruitment would be advantageous.

You will be able to communicate with key stakeholders and be a strong team player to be able to stand up and fill in when needed. Ideally you will be CIPD level 5.
