Job Description

Macildowie HR are working with a leading international healthcare group as they look to bring an HR & Payroll Assistant on board! This role is key for the business as this role will have the responsibility of running payroll for c150 employees at the Head Office in Loughborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious HR Administrator/Assistant looking for the next step in their career with more responsibility. As mentioned, this role also includes payroll and the system the business use is ADP. Hands on experience of that system is paramount for this position.

The business are looking to offer a salary between £18,000-£23,000 plus bonus and an early Friday finish!

The Role

The organisation are looking for an HR & Payroll Assistant to join the team to own the payroll function whilst carrying out the generalist HR activities such as ER case management and managing the new starter induction process.

In this role you will also provide an advisory service to support managers and employees, promptly responding to queries and managing expectations consistently in line with legal and company policies.

You'll be working alongside the HR Director, reporting to them directly, to monitor, review and update policies in line with current legislation and best practice.

There will also be opportunities to work on various projects to add value to the business, the HR Director is a big believer of employee engagement and would want someone to champion that in partnership with the work already covered, the business have just finished a global employee research programme and are in the process of gaining all of the feedback.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role you must have experience using ADP (Automatic Data Processing), the web based tool for payroll. This is the new system the business have had since September 2016 so they need someone who has used it before or something very similar.

In this role you need to provide a high level of service, internally and externally so confidence is key. They are also looking for someone quite dynamic, more than just being part of the team, more dynamic in their approach.

Other desirables include initiative, organisation and accuracy. There are aspects of lone working in this role and to deadlines, hence why they are looking for someone quite precise!

The business are planning a refurbishment this year for the whole office and factory so it shall soon represent the brand more as they are one of the leaders in their markets.
