A fast growing organisation based in Northampton are looking for an experienced HR & Recruitment Officer with demonstrable experience of working in a generalist fast paced role dealing with competition priorities. This is a varied role and we're looking for a generalist HR professional who has experience in end to end recruitment. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to add value, bring in new ideas and work across the breadth of generalist HR and Recruitment in a fast role. The role is permanent paying £21,000 - £23,000 p.a plus benefits.
Reporting into the Head of HR you will use your experience of working within a generalist role to support operationally including recruitment and HR. We are looking for a strong communicator as you'll work closely with your key stakeholders across the business. You'll have proven experience of influencing and challenging up to Director level through your invested time in developing strong relationships.
We are looking for a HR professional with a wealth of experience in advising on a range of employee relations issues including complex disciplinaries & grievances, absence management including liaising with occupational health, performance management and implementing policies and procedures. As well as your HR duties, we are looking for a HR generalist to be involved in end to end recruitment, playing a key role in enabling growth of the business through looking at the employee value proposition (EVP) for the business, improving candidate experience and the recruitment process in order to bring the best talent into the business. You will manage end to end recruitment: including liaising with your key stakeholders up to Director level to take the full job brief, writing engaging job descriptions and adverts, using jobs boards, social media, liaising with agencies, sifting through CV's, interviewing, offers and onboarding through inductions.
Using your previous experience you will be creative in bringing in new ideas and this will link with delivering commercial HR projects. Projects will include setting up and managing the apprenticeship programmes and managing the graduate programme, contract review and rolling out training on new policy and processes to name a few.
