Macildowie Recruitment is very pleased to be working with a leading insurance organisation in Northampton on a HR Assistant vacancy. The role will report into the Head of HR Operations and have responsibility for a large proportion of the HR queries on site. The role is permanent and will look to pay up to £25,000 for the right candidate.
You will be working alongside the HRBP's and Line Managers and be responsible for assisting and advising on a large volume of ER and HR issues from start to finish. This will include, managing the HR database, distributing contracts and offer letters, providing first line support to employees and line managers which could include assisting on grievances and disciplinary. You will be looking after queries both face to face and via the HR system.
You will have the chance to get involved in ad hoc projects and help to upskill managers by running drop in sessions to help update them on the latest policies.
You will be extremely technical and be good with HR systems as this will be a big focus within the role.
You will have experience within an HR environment using a HR system and be able to cope under pressure. You will be able to manage your own work load and have excellent prioritisation skills. You will be a great team player and enjoy working as part of a busy and motivated HR Team.
