Macildowie HR are working with a quintessentially British brand in the Leicestershire area as they are looking to bring on an HR Assistant for a period of 12 months. The organisation has 1 site in the UK with 900 employees and others abroad with 3,000.

This role will sit within the HR and Recruitment function and will report in to the Head of HR who is very down to earth and approachable. Offering up to £19,000 alongside other benefits and looking for an immediate start.
You will act as the first point of contact for the HR Department and answer queries or escalate as required.
Ensure the HR documents and records are maintained, are accurate and comply with legislation.
You will schedule and ensure completion of the correct induction paperwork as well as organising events, training and meetings.
Some aspects of recruitment fall in to this role such as arranging interviews internally and with external candidates.
To undertake all general HR administration such as filing, cycle and eye care scheme, workwear, data audits, referencing, appraisal monitoring and pension seminar arrangements.
Build effective relationships with the HR and H&S Team, Payroll, Line Managers and Employees and maintain confidentiality as required.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous proven experience in an administration role, preferable in a HR environment along with strong skills within Microsoft Packages including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills, clear and concise written and verbal skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
Be self-motivated and resilient, able to work alone and as part of a team whilst being flexible and adaptable.
