Macildowie HR are in partnership with a leading business in Welwyn Garden City who are looking to bring on board an HR Assistant who will work within the HR team but have a main focus into the recruitment aspect of the business.
Working as a member of the HR Team you will be responsible for supporting recruitment and selection activities throughout the company by providing support and advice to managers and liaising with external agencies such as job centres, colleges and on line websites. In addition you will also be providing front line support and guidance to staff on other key HR activities.
-Prepare and place internal, external and web site advertisements for weekly paid/ upgraded employees. Prepare internal and external adverts.
-Administration of recruitment process for ungraded and some graded positions from acknowledging applications, arranging interviews, attending interviews and follow up.
-Prepare offer letters, and terms and conditions of employment for ungraded staff. Ensure all relevant information relating to new starters information is collated and filed appropriately. Chase missing employee file information to ensure personnel files are complete.
-Ensure probationary forms are completed and relevant letters raised.
Attends as HR support in Probationary Reviews for ungraded and monthly graded positions where required.
Previous experience of providing generalist HR resourcing support and advice to managers and staff in a multi sited, challenging environment is essential. As well as this an administration background would also be of interest.
