HR Assistant | Coventry | up to £23,000 | full/part time | 4 month fixed term contract

Macildowie HR is working with a growing business to recruit an HR Assistant to join their team initially on a temporary 4 month basis. The role is located in Coventry and is paying up to £23,000, to start as soon as possible.

Part time applications will be considered for this role, if part time the intention will be to work 4 days per week maximum.

The Role

You will play an integral part of the HR team, you'll be the first point of call for the full employee lifecycle that includes but isn't limited to: recruitment administration, responding to job vacancies, preparation of documents for new starters, leavers, job applicants and other staff changes. You will also be involved with the right to work checks and the associated preparation of the letters and documents. As well as this you will be tasked with general maintenance and updating of accurate record systems, both paper and electronic.

This is a true generalist role, so you will be playing an integral part in maintaining a comprehensive HR Service offering for the business. You will be involved with aspects of employee relations, such as minute taking and assisting on low level cases.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in similar HR role, with great administrative and organisation skills. They need a true generalist for this role and someone who knows what they're doing within a HR Department and can really get going right from the offset. Time management is a must in this role, you'll need to be able to work on your own and make decisions alongside being able to produce quality work under pressure. You must have a positive attitude to dealing with queries, as well as being pro-active in finding solutions and having a customer focused attitude.
