Macildowie HR are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and punchy HR professional to join a growing team, within the Birmingham area, commutable from Warwickshire and Derbyshire. This role is being offered on a permanent basis between £18,000 and £20,000, dependent on experience. It is a really exciting time to join this well-known company, due to new changes and ongoing projects.

The Role:
Reporting into the Head of HR, who is very pro-active, dynamic and resilient, they want someone who is going to share the same attitude to work and have the get up and go to make the most out of this opportunity.

You will be supporting the Head of HR and/or the HR Advisor with all HR admin duties, from sending out offer letters and contracts, updating the HR system, managing the HR inbox and being the first point of call for all enquiries and dealing with issues such as absence and sickness.

This role will give you valuable exposure into high volume employee relations cases, being able to sit in on meetings and take notes, support in the investigations and deal with any follow up with correspondence.
You will be able to get involved in wider parts of HR, including looking at the L&D strategy, upskilling line managers to deal with absence and performance management of their team, revamping the rewards structure and taking autonomy of your workload.

The Perfect Candidate:

You will need to be very resilient to keep up with the high volume workload, and be happy for things to be thrown your way. As well as being very pro-active and enthusiastic, with a drive to enhance and progress your HR career.
There will be an element of travel, where you will be needed to be present for a meeting or training session across different sites, so you must drive and have your own car.
Previous experience working with a HR admin or assistant position is essential, and CIPD is preferable.
