Macildowie HR are working with a Coventry based SME business to recruit for a HR Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly into the Head of HR, you will be responsible for a very generalist remit to support the company and staff members. You will be responsible for supporting the Head of HR on a day to day level with all HR administration duties, such as new starter documentation and onboarding, updating the HR and Time Management system, managing the company car fleet and recruitment support. Experience and an understanding of payroll and the furlough calculations will be desirable in this role, as you will administer the payroll process on the portal and communicate any employee changes such as starters/leaver, flexi-furlough and employee changes.
This will be an incredibly varied role where no two days will be the same, so you will need to be very adaptable and be able to manage your workload effectively. You may be required to do ad hoc duties for the office, that aren't within the HR function due to them being a small business.
Working closely with the Head of HR, you will be able to support with HR projects, such as the upcoming flexible working policy and annual salary reviews and appraisals.
For this role, we are looking for someone with HR administration or assistant experience and looking to develop their career within a great role that will give you exposure and responsibility. You will need to be uber flexible and be able to multitask within this role, as well as being a team player and happy to muck in and support the Head of HR.
